Fees and Medicare Rebates
Mental Health Treatment Plans
Clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $149.05 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Your GP can help to determine your eligibility and organise your referral and Plan.
Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plans
Clients with an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP) are eligible for the Medicare rebate of $149.05 per session for up to 40 sessions over a 12-month period, depending on clinical need and regular reviews with a GP or psychiatrist. Please discuss your eligibility with your usual medical provider.
Private Health Insurance
Many private health funds offer rebates for clinical psychology services under their Extras cover. The amount covered varies depending on your provider and policy, and we recommend contacting your fund directly to determine your level of coverage.
How to Claim Your Rebate

See your GP
Ask your GP for a MHTP or EDP. You'll need one to claim Medicare rebates.

Send us your referral
Email us your plan and referral (or ask your doctor to) before your first session so you can claim from day one.

Settle your invoice
Pay the session fee and we'll send a receipt with everything Medicare needs.

Claim your rebate
Claim through myGov or the Medicare app. Rebates usually land in your account within a few business days.
Session Fees
Standard Appointment
$200
Standard weekday appointment before 5pm. Out-of-pocket cost after Medicare rebate is $50.95.
The concession rate is not available for after-hours appointments.
After-Hours Appointment
$220
Evening or Saturday appointment. Out-of-pocket cost after Medicare rebate is $70.95.
Concession Appointment
$190
Weekday appointment before 5pm for Pensioner Concession and Health Care Card holders. Out-of-pocket cost after Medicare rebate is $40.95.
DVA Appointment
Veterans with a DVA Gold Card or White Card can access sessions at no out-of-pocket cost. A referral from your GP is required.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please email us at least 48 hours beforehand where possible. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments are charged the full session fee, which can't be claimed through Medicare.
We understand that sudden illness or an emergency can make it difficult to provide 24 hours' notice, and we consider these situations individually.
