About Jackson
Jackson Taylor is an AHPRA-endorsed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Inner World Psychology. With a background encompassing public mental health and private practice, Jackson brings broad clinical experience to his work. Currently, Jackson finds fulfilment in both a public mental health role and his private practice, where he supports clients with eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, depression and related concerns.
In sessions, Jackson fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel at ease to explore their challenges confidentially. Jackson’s approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on psychodynamic and attachment theories, modern neuroscience, and modalities including enhanced cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT-E), psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive processing therapy (CPT), in which he has completed further training.
Beyond employing effective therapeutic techniques, Jackson places great emphasis on building strong therapeutic relationships with his clients. He understands that the success of therapy often hinges on the quality of this connection. He will collaborate with you to develop a plan for therapy that is tailored to your needs, supports insight, addresses current difficulties, and works toward meaningful change in your life and relationships.
Jackson has a genuine belief in the potential for positive transformation within each individual. He recognises that psychological therapy can be a highly meaningful catalyst, and considers it a privilege to accompany and support his clients on their journeys to self-actualisation.
